Please read these terms and conditions carefully before requesting a quote or using our services. By engaging with Artesia Glass Windows, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, scheduling a consultation, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all customers, whether residential or commercial.

2. Services Provided

Artesia Glass Windows specializes in custom-made residential and commercial windows and doors. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Window Installation: Low-E, clear, and polarized glass options for energy efficiency and comfort.
  • Door Installation: Entry doors, sliding doors, French doors, and commercial storefronts.
  • Custom Projects: Tailored solutions for unique architectural requirements at no extra charge.
  • Emergency Repairs: Urgent glass and door repair services for residential and commercial properties.

All custom work is designed and fabricated to meet your specific needs. We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our scope of expertise or service area.

3. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates provided by Artesia Glass Windows are free of charge and valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified.

Quote Accuracy

Quotes are based on information provided by the customer and preliminary site assessment. Final pricing may vary after detailed measurements.

Site Visits

On-site measurements and inspections are required before project commencement to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Price Changes

Material costs, labor rates, and project scope changes may affect final pricing. We will notify you of any adjustments before proceeding.

Binding Agreement

A quote becomes a binding contract only upon written acceptance and receipt of deposit payment.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are clearly outlined in your project contract. Standard payment structure is as follows:

Deposit Payment (50%)

Required upon contract signing to secure materials and schedule production. Non-refundable once materials are ordered.

Progress Payment (25%)

Due upon delivery of materials to the job site, prior to installation commencement.

Final Payment (25%)

Due upon project completion and customer walkthrough. Payment required before warranty activation.

  • We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and bank transfers.
  • Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge.

5. Warranty & Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our work. All installations come with comprehensive warranty coverage:

Exclusions: Warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, natural disasters, or unauthorized modifications.

Activation: Warranty is activated upon final payment and requires proper maintenance as outlined in care instructions.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, the following limitations apply:

  • Artesia Glass Windows is fully insured and licensed. We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing structural issues, concealed defects, or damage caused by third parties.
  • Customer is responsible for ensuring proper access to work areas and securing valuables during installation.
  • Our total liability is limited to the contract value of the specific project in question.

Any claims must be reported in writing within 7 days of project completion to be considered under warranty or liability coverage.

7. Cancellation Policyss

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting our business from losses:

Before Materials Are Ordered

Full refund of deposit minus a $150 administrative fee. Cancellation must be submitted in writing.

After Materials Are Ordered

Deposit is non-refundable. Customer is responsible for cost of custom materials already produced or ordered.

After Installation Begins

No refunds. Full contract amount is due. We will work with you to resolve any concerns or complete the project.

Rescheduling is permitted up to 48 hours before scheduled installation date at no charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a $200 trip charge.

8. Additional Terms

Permits & Regulations

Customer is responsible for obtaining necessary permits unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will assist with permit documentation as needed.

Project Timeline

Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but may be affected by weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any delays promptly.

Property Access

Customer must provide safe, unobstructed access to work areas. Delays caused by access issues may result in additional charges.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If necessary, mediation will be conducted in Los Angeles County, California.

Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Current terms are always available on our website and provided with all contracts.
